The Core Centre

Paediatric (Children's) Pelvic Health

We can support children and their families with the following conditions

  • Daytime wetting
  • Children needing to go to the toilet urgently
  • Children needing to go to the toilet frequently
  • Delays or issues with achiving toilet training
  • Bedwetting (nocturnal enuresis)
  • Recurrent urinary tract infections
  • Constipation
  • Leakage of poo (faecal incontinence)

At The Core Centre, we provide paediatric pelvic health physiotherapy for children, and adolescents experiencing bladder, bowel, pelvic floor, abdominal, and toileting concerns.

Many families are surprised to learn that difficulties with toileting, constipation, bedwetting, daytime wetting, withholding, abdominal pain, and pelvic floor dysfunction are common and often highly treatable. These issues can impact a child's confidence, participation in activities, sleep, learning, and overall wellbeing.

Our goal is to understand the whole child and provide practical, evidence-informed strategies that support healthy bladder and bowel function, comfortable movement, confident toileting, and improved quality of life.

We understand these conditions can be stressful for both children and parents, and we provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a supportive and child-friendly environment.
